KESETIAAN DALAM AJARAN DAN INTEGRITAS HIDUP: EKSPOSISI 1 TIMOTIUS 4:12–16 BAGI PEMIMPIN GEREJA KONTEMPORER
Abstract
AbstractThis study examines the theological foundation of spiritual leadership integrity based on 1 Timothy 4:12-16. Previous research has identified six dimensions of integrity -Christological, spiritual-moral, formational, pedagogical, communal, and ethical-administrative- but treats them separately. Through qualitative analysis and exegetical reading of the text, this research develops an integrative model that reveals four axes of formation: exemplary life, spiritual discipline, communal affirmation, and the balance between teaching and living. These four axes converge within a holistic theological framework, affirming that the integrity of spiritual leadership is not merely moral or administrative, but emerges from the unity of orthodoxy and orthopraxy. The study asserts that authentic Christian leadership grows through personal discipline in the Word, communal affirmation, and perseverance in sound teaching. The findings provide a theological foundation for churches and theological institutions to situate leadership formation as an integrated process of faith, community, and doctrine. Keywords: church leadership; integrity; theological formation; 1 Timothy 4:12-16, orthodoxy; orthopraxy.
