PENGAMPUNAN SEBAGAI SARANA PEMULIHAN KOMUNITAS: KAJIAN HERMENEUTIS TERHADAP 2 KORINTUS 2:5-11
Abstract
Artikel ini mengkaji urgensi pengampunan sebagai sarana pemulihan komunitas berdasarkan 2 Korintus 2:5-11. Berangkat dari realitas konflik yang sedang dihadapi jemaat tersebut, sebagaimana Paulus dalam suratnya ia menawarkan pengampunan terhadap pelaku kesalahan sebagai jalan menuju sukacita. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan hermeneutis-eksegetis guna untuk memahami makna teks sesuai maksud penulis kitab. Analisis terhadap istilah kunci seperti χαρίζομαι (charizomai) menunjukkan bahwa pengampunan dipahami sebagai tindakan anugerah yang memulihkan. Hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa hukuman yang telah diberikan sudah cukup untuk membawa pelaku pada pertobatan. Karena itu, jemaat dipanggil untuk mengampuni dan menghibur agar ia tidak tenggelam dalam kesedihan. Pengampunan menjadi wujud kasih yang menjaga kesatuan jemaat dan mencegah perpecahan.References
